So what if Obama was a Muslim or an Arab?

There has recently been a somewhat delayed popular response by many public figures regarding the insinuations and suggestions that Barack Obama is a Muslim, has terrorists connections, or is infact an Arab (yea ok). The larger issue at hand, however, is (as one non-Muslim put it)...

Excuse me, but when did the words "Muslim" and "Arab" become acceptable epithets?

My Islamic Perspective:

Is it not the scheme of Satan to alter the perception and meaning of a "Muslim" from one who represents Islam (submission to Allah) and Peace to one who represents terror, violence, and indecency!?

I'm saddened by the negativity associated with these labels.  We have to do more to fight the schemes of Satan.
